Mayday! Mayday!

Breaking the glass,
in case, of emergency.
Checklist:
Dictionary, got it.
Thesaurus, thank God!
Speling? speling?!
Spelling book, whew.

Remington, a savior,
dark times,
pen and paper, familiar
companions.

The Internet, is gone.
Hoping, it’s just us.
Holding out.
Fifteen, grueling
minutes. Hoping
someday,
someone,
will find,
this message,
in this
bottle.

Sunday Stroll

You’re the love,
I never knew,
I needed.
The peace,
I never knew,
existed.
Joy, I never felt-
fleeting.
You’re the bright
and morning star,
you’re Hope,
Beauty, Laughter
and the glorious
sound, of rain
pattering, on
rooftops.
Words, cannot
contain, who
You are, or explain,
what you’ve done.
I try, they fail me.
I can only tell,
of Your glory,
by this life,
that I lead.
Praising your Name,
and hoping,
The World,
will
see.
